I started the drive home at about 1pm on the Tuesday after Easter, after I bought an inverter so I could power the laptop in the car so I could play CDs because the CD player broke. Whew got it all set up with help from a friendly Dick Smith fellow. A bonus for buying the inverter was a heater/cooler thingy. Score!
I listened to the 2005 National Folk Festival compilation CD; Kiki Dee, Amoureuse; Enya, Watermark; Gentil Madonna; and the Antarctic Symphony.
I stayed the night just outside of Kempsey, opposite where the Slim Dusty Centre Project is underway.
