Easter Sunday - National Folk Festival

Another Poet's Breakfast to start the day, then the Charlie Walden Band, Eddi Reader, Chris Smither, The Whitetop Mountaineers, Harlequin, Jewelled Mat, Cloudstreet, The HaBiBis, Daniel Champagne, Nick Charles, and Les Barker.  Les is hilarious - here's a taste

I loved the Burns Tribute Concert put together by Humbug.  Even better, though, was The Twine - a couple from the Gold Coast who had the wildest loudest most wonderful rhythms.  They will be on Australia's Got Talent - I'm looking forward to seeing how they go.

Throughout each day there is plenty happening everywhere.
This giant Scotsman
was chasing his "dog"
that had just weed on the cameraman.
Men dress as girls just to get a dance
Asian foodstalls use rice rather than sandbags to hold down umbrellas
and bouncing kangaroos appear from nowhere.
