Easter Saturday - National Folk Festival

I started the day with the Poet's Breakfast again and then did some Egyptian dancing - Hilal Dance Australia. The teacher was fantastic

She got us to walk first and then gradually incorporated the moves and before we knew it we were doing a dance, accompanied only by the beat of this drum

Today's acts were Les Barker - absolutely hilarious poet; Ballpoint Penguins who were witty and clever; Voices from the Vacant Lot; Ian Paul, Faerd, Chris Smither and Trouble in the Kitchen.
