This movie first came out in 1982 and its use of computer graphics was pretty amazing for people like me who were not computer savvy or geeky (back then, boys and girls, the word "geek" was a huge insult).  So I wanted to see what it would be like to watch it from a 2010 perspective.  Very Disney, happy ending and all, but still interesting.  The computer programs and the evil Master Program are characters, and they don't quite believe in the world of the "users".  But as luck would have it, three "users" enter the program world and the tussle for supremacy begins.  I enjoyed watching it again, and I particularly liked seeing a very young and very dishy Bruce Boxleitner, and the graphics/animation were not too weird.  A kind of nice step back in time.

  1. Yes, how times have changed. I'm considered by some to be at times a little geeky...which is fine by me. Back in the 80's I would have hidden under a table to escape that tag. :-)
