Star Sea Quilters in Cleveland had a Friendship Day today. They invited big and small groups from the area to come and join them for a morning of Show and Tell, socialising, shopping and eating!
My reason for being there was to tell everyone about the Redlands Quilt Extravaganza - the annual quilt show in the local area - see more details and keep up to date with information here.
Have a look at some of the wonderful items on display - and there was show and tell as well!
The first two are by Jenny Williams - as you can see she is a prize winner -
The next is a detail of a quilt that one of the ladies designed and many of the group made -
This bag was made up in different colours by a number of ladies -
This is a detail of a quilt designed by Joy of Joy Patch -
Some more nice creations -
The shopping was courtesy of Nikki Tervo and Alan & Bev Patchwork. Here is what I got in a $10 treasure bag from Alan & Bev (over 5.5 metres worth of fabric - I've just measured it all - and I gave some pieces away!!)
I also bought this panel - couldn't resist at $3.75 per metre!!
