Food Chain

Last night I went to an event at the State Library of Queensland.  It was part of a series called "Deepen the Conversation" and was about how we have become disconnected from food production, and the urgent need, as we become more urbanised, to allocate space for growing food in suburban and urban areas.  Three panel members who contributed to this Griffith Review
were interviewed by Paul Barclay and answered questions from the audience.  The session will be on Radio National Australia Talks on Easter Monday.  The book contains more thought-provoking essays.

A bonus for me was that I met up with a friend I hadn't seen for a while - hi Christine!
