The pincushions I was busy making were for a swap at the Queensland Quilters (QQ) annual picnic. This year the picnic was in Toowoomba. I picked up some friends at Kenmore, and then we crossed the river via the Moggill ferry.

Once at the picnic, we realised the organisers had done a massive amount of work. All proceeds went to Angelflight. There was a cent auction,

as well as raffles and door prizes.
Val from Melbourne is staying at the Gold Coast and I was so pleased she could make it.

I did not have much luck winning anything that day.
However, I had
enormous luck picking the friends I went with. We were the envy of the everyone else there - we had a proper table, and tablecloth, wine, and delicious food. Yum Yum!
