Finished Finished

This redwork wreath is now FINISHED!!!
Every stitch is done, the piece is stapled to a stretcher frame, and neatened on the back with a complementary piece of fabric
little eyelet screws are in place ready to hang - woo hoo!!  In the process I tidied a couple of "everything drawers" looking for the bits and pieces I needed - double woo hoo!!!

Stitching Round the Block

I have signed up for a short round robin stitching project organised by Helen Stubbings.  It shouldn't be too onerous - just a few nights stitching every fortnight with the resulting little quilt about 20". One of my groups of 4 are local friends, and I've also been matched with some others - one Aussie, one in the US and one in  Austria.  Should be fun!!

More Progress

Last night I finished putting together this quilt top.  It is wallhanging size.

I showed the finished stitchery blocks in November.  In December I got the fabrics together.  Now it just needs quilting!

Heart of Leaves

In my quest to F.I.N.I.S.H. this year I have just completed this cross stitch.
I used one strand of two different threads to give it a more dimensional look.

What I am stitching

I fell in love with this pattern last year - so I bought it! Pink of course...
I have finished stitching a few blocks, and have to redraw parts of some blocks to finish stitching them (the blue pen faded...).
This is the current one I am working on -
I have everything I need in a small plastic case and just pick up and go when I think there will be a stitching opportunity. Sooner or later, it gets finished....
