After only 4 hours I gained confidence in using the manual setting and kind of "got" what ISO, aperture and shutter speed were about - not that I can explain it to you, but I can do the adjustments on my camera to get close to what I want. I learned the limitations of my camera and "found" stuff on there I never knew existed - and I've had the camera for more than 6 years. It was well worth the time and money.
Kangaroo Point has so much happening, too - a spot to return to.

Me
As a complete contrast to the hideous passport photo on Tuesday, yesterday I had some shots taken for a work profile. This is my favourite - you'd employ me, wouldn't you???

Newcastle Part 2
One thing I was looking forward to was meeting Davina, a new penpal, who lives near Newcastle. She picked me up from my accommodation and we had a wonderful afternoon talking and taking in the views.
This fellow must have had some food in his car
I was surprised at how beautiful the beaches were. Davina had packed a thermos, tea, milk, mugs and shortbread biscuits. We set up chairs in the carpark
looking out to the headlands.
