Brown Paper Packages...

tied up with string, these are a few of my favourite things!!!  How long since you got such a nice home made package?

Shweshwe fabric from South Africa - the authentic stuff - see the stamp bottom right.  I needed to add to what I had - at last retreat I ran out.  So I ordered 8 more quarter metres.  The grand total?  162 Rand = $AUD21 including postage.  I am very happy....

Remember when I picked up some fabric at a sale in July?  I knew I had to get more to make a decent sized quilt, so found two more charm packs on ebay - now I have a set of 4.  Any idea of what to do with them??

Fabric

I couldn't pass up a sale at Queensland Quilters recently.  The Linus Quilt folk had bags of fabric for sale.  $5 each bag.  All proceeds going back to Linus so they can buy wadding to finish their charity quilts.  Well, I couldn't say no to such a good cause :)
I bought 2 bags - each had a coordinated set of fabric.  One had about 1.5metres, one had nearly 3!!
