The Harp Consort

Last night I went to the most FABULOUS concert - The Harp Consort were playing at the Conservatorium Theatre as part of the Musica Viva International Concert Series.

My ritual pre-show drink -

WELL!!  I was in row AA, seat 13 - YES!! front and centre.

The performers were RIGHT THERE!!  There was dancing, humour, singing and playing, my there was playing.  Such a wonderful wonderful experience. Afterwards the group came back on stage and talked and answered questions.

It rates as one of the best concerts I have ever, ever been to!

Brisbane City Markets

Every Wednesday in town there is a Farmers Market - fabulous!!  It's one organised by Jan Power.  The hours are 10-6, and you'll find it just near the Casino.  More info here.

Margaret's Trip

My friend Margaret came back from the US on Monday.  She didn't unpack anything until Tuesday afternoon when I went over for the BIG REVEAL.  It was FABULOUS.  She relived the trip and I got to see all sorts of things she bought and heard all her stories.

What floored me is that she remember that it was my birthday while she was away - here's the cake she bought for a belated celebration -

Another Scarf

This is the softest chenille-like scarf - so nice to wear.  I bought the yarn in Canberra - and I've FINISHED it!  I have enough yarn to make a second one...
